The college has a separate independent UGC CELL to look after the matters relating to the implementation of various UGC programmes. For the last several years, the institution has benefitted immensely from the UGC sponsored schemes and programmes like scholarships and book grants to the in-service Research Scholars, construction of New Classrooms, swimming pool, carpeting of college playground with grass, book grants for college Library, Remedial Classes for students of various classes and courses every academic sessions etc.
