Disaster management cell in DPGC Kamki was started in academic year of 2018 – 19. The cell works to inculcate or to acquaint college students on Disaster preparedness in case of disaster that may occur any time. The Disaster management cell focus on imparting awareness about the various kinds of disasters and possible responses to them. The basic aim of Disaster Management Cell is to impart Educating or training the students at grass-root level in vulnerable areas and to train them to respond at any disaster situation. Regular awareness will be given to students on basic training skills in Disaster Management. Regular mock drills, exercises and rehearsals on Disaster management will be conducted on time. The NSS programme officer of College is the convenor of Disaster Management Cell.
